Deep Sea Fishing – Rod Fishing

Our deep sea fishing trips last 3 hours. The fishing rod, bait and plenty of friendly advice are provided. Normally 8 people is the maximum on this kind of trip.

Mackerel Fishing

Nick runs one-hour mackerel fishing trips from the Cobb Harbour in Lyme Regis several times a day.

You can sightsee while we cruise, fish for mackerel or just sit back, relax, enjoy the wonderful sea air and views.

Sightseeing and Scenic Pleasure Boat Trips

Available by private charter at any time.
Nick offers sightseeing trips along the Undercliff / East Devon coast for groups of up to 11 people. This trip takes a minimum of one and a half hours and is perfect for seeing the Jurassic Coastline or coast from a different perspective. Trips can be arranged by private charter.

From the boat, you can sit back, relax and see the Jurassic Coast.  Visiting Dolphins have been seen on these trips. Go to our main Gallery to take a peek at what you might see.

This is an informal outing, Nick will talk to you about the cliffs, the sea, the coastline and wildlife he has known all his life.

The Boat and Safety

Nick operates his boat from March to November. The boat is licensed by Dorset Council, certified by MECAL and the MCA. We carry a full complement of safety equipment life jackets and a life raft. The boat is subject to an annual survey – your safety is as important to us as it is to you. Nick has over 30 years of experience of working at sea from Lyme Regis.

What to Wear

Nick advises that people embarking on a boat trip should dress according to the weather conditions and think country walk, not garden party! Generally speaking, outdoor shoes that you don’t mind getting wet are perfect for boat trips.
